Canalino della Liberazione
It has been a long time since I heard about this couloir and the twin alongside it (La Rigola).
They are two splendid couloirs on the Fanis Nord tower which can be easily reached from Lagazuoi via the Forcella Gasser Depot. Climb with iceaxe and crampons from the South face and descend to the north face in the beautiful Cadin di Fanis amphitheater
The Canalino della Liberazione climbs steadily in a breathtaking setting between some steeper ridges, some icy stretches and some short rocky tastes (never difficult)

After putting on the crampons and passing a first part with inconsistent snow that slows down the climb a bit, the slope rears up (50 ° and a few steps steeper) and with it fortunately the snow becomes pretty hard and easy to climb so in short we come to the top of the couloir
the descent is fantastic on perfect snow and a constant slope of 40/45° with a steep initial stretch that perhaps exceeds 50°

absolutely worth a ride
from the end of the couloir with gentler slopes we climbed the Mortaio Pass going down south and then with a long climb back to the Travenanzes Pass and skiing on the track to the square of the departure cable car
